Merry Christmas to all 2008 from Dave and Brenda and their family!
Life has been good to us this year …we are all healthy and happy and in love!
Dave and I celebrated our 35 wedding anniversary in May and have 4 of our 6 children married. We have 7 grand children and 1 on the way and are hoping for a few announcements this year.
Dave still works for SW gas as a Contract Analyst and has worked there for 25 years. He was just released as the ward mission leader and we have had the spirit of missionary work in our home for several years. Now he will be the teacher development teacher and family something teacher. I guess with most of our family living in the ward they figure that would be a good place for him.
Brenda …well I’m having a great year of dance. We have lots of fun music and we ordered cute costumes for the dancers. This is about 30 years of teaching now if you count the studio in Richmond too. It’s been a fun career for me. I am teaching 3yr olds to 83 yr olds and I’m not sure which I like better. I still have fun doing crafts. I weaved some old fashion rugs that I learned how to make in Nauvoo this year and I had some fun with a new decorative Christmas quilt for my bed. We had a big Thanksgiving at our home this year and we were able to scrapbook baby books to help Charisse( Dave’s sister)keep up with all her beautiful gifts to her nieces and nephews. I keep busy at church. I am the nursery Leader and the Choir Leader and was the ward Girls Camp Leader till they made me the stake girls Camp leader. It’s a fun call …I just hope it is as fun for the girls as it is in my head!
Aaron and Melanie have 2 darling boys.
Stacie and sam have 2 cute boys and 2 sweet girls. http://samstacieminerfamily.blogspot.com/
Zach and Kate have a beautiful girl and 1 on the way.
Matt and Janay are married a year and a half now.
Sam has a girlfriend that we all love , Erin.
Amber is a beautiful young college women !
My Dad and Ann are the best parents a girl can ask for.
We miss Dave’s parents ever so much!
All our brothers , sisters, cousins and their families are our favorite relatives ever! We are so blessed!
We couldn’t ask for better friends!
After all that is what life is all about…. Loving, Learning, and Remembering our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ who gave his life so we could return to our Heavenly Father. I have set up blogs to try to stay close to cousins and family so enjoy them and feel free to add to them. Most of all Merry Christmas to all and to all a Good Life! Brenda
